Personal History

I was born and grew up in Hong Kong.  It is an exquisite and vigorous city under the influence of Eastern and Western cultures.  I studied in Christian schools for both primary and secondary education.  However, there’s no guarantee that I was in a good relationship with God.  The stories of Jesus might be one of the gods and goddesses in traditional Chinese mythology.  I had two car accidents throughout my life.  Long time ago, a car knocked me down while I was crossing the road near my home.  This was the first time for me to realize that life is so very fragile.  It can be taken from us in an instant.  I finally made up my mind to take God more seriously and returned to church and got baptized several years later.  Honestly speaking, there’re ups and downs over the years but thank God for His mercy and the support of fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.  I had another car accident not long ago, around mid-April 2013.  At that time, I was sitting on the front seat next to the driver.  The front part of our car was severely damaged – the bumper, headlights, the hood and so on.  This was a new car not more than two years but it was now a total loss.  Yet none of the three persons on the car (including me) was slightly injured.  This time, the accident has reaffirmed my commitment to be a passionate Christ follower, making it a priority in my life.  This is my great honor to work for Insight Resources International, Inc.  To me, what matters most is not only how much I can contribute but also how much I can experience God during this lifelong learning process!
